Baku, February 5 (AZERTAC). Newly elected Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad Madani arrived in Tehran on Tuesday evening.

He was welcomed at the airport by Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.

Madani is scheduled to meet with President Hassan Rouhani, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Education Minister Ali Asghar Fani during his stay in Tehran.
