OIL AND GAS TRANSPORTATION UP

Transportation of crude oil and oil products rose to 11,7 mln tons in 2005, spokesman of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) announced.

This is 0,9% more than a year earlier.

Reportedly, transportation of gas rose up to 9,5 bln cubic meters, 47,8% of which fall to Russian gas.

In comparison with 2004, gas transportation rose by 4,4% in 2005.
