OpenAI unveils GPT-4 Turbo, its most powerful artificial intelligence

US-based artificial intelligence (AI) research company OpenAI introduced GPT-4 Turbo, its most powerful AI to date, according to Anadolu Agency.
GPT-4 Turbo possesses knowledge of world events up to April 2023, featuring a 128k context window, enabling it to accommodate the equivalent of more than 300 pages of text in a single prompt, the company said in a blog post.
The post highlighted that GPT-4 Turbo facilitates developers in creating their own assistive AI apps with goals, capable of calling models and tools. It outperforms its predecessors in tasks requiring meticulous adherence to instructions, such as generating specific formats.
Additionally, the company announced a reduction in prices across the platform, aiming to pass on savings to developers.
OpenAI plans to release "the stable production-ready model" of GPT-4 Turbo in the coming weeks, according to the post.
