OVER 1,3 BILLION KWT/HRS OF ELECTRIC POWER WERE PRODUCED IN AZENERGY
Some 1,255 billion kwt/hrs of power were produced by thermal stations, 133 million kwt/hrs - by hydraulic stations, press service of Azenergy reports. Production of thermal power came to 41 628 Gcal last month. Production of electric power in July 2003 increased by 14,1 percent compared to same period of 2002.
Last month, according to the plan, power transmission went on with neighboring countries - Russia, Iran, Georgia and Turkey. Production in January through July, 2003 by Azenergy Company was fixed at the level of over 12,383 billion kWt/hrs of electric power, that is more by 13,1 percent than last year’s data.
Thermal stations produced 10,617 billion kWt/hrs, hydraulic stations - 1,766 billion kWt/hrs of electric power. Production of electric power from the beginning of the year comes to 528 280 Gcal.
