Speaking on the ancient history of the relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, the Vice-Seaker emphasized development of bilateral ties in all fields. Ms. Muradova expressed confidence that the cooperation agreement signed between Accounting Chambers during present visit of O. Oksikbayev to Azerbaijan will stimulate development of bilateral links. She has told about reforms carried out in the country, noting value of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipelines and the importance of joining of Kazakhstan to these projects.
The Vice-Speaker of Milli Majlis highly assessed the relations between parliaments of two countries and expressed satisfaction that parliamentarians of two countries have the same position on the international organizations.
Chairman of the Accounting Committee of Kazakhstan Omarkhan Oksikbayev has told, that his country closely watches processes occurring in Azerbaijan and is glad to the reached successes here. Kazakhstan also is pleased with inauguration of BTC, he underlined. He has emphasized importance of increase of the role of auditor bodies for maintenance of transparency in such projects and support of them by parliaments.
At the meeting, also was focused the question of expansion of contacts between the Accounting Chambers and legislative bodies, was underlined the importance of strengthening of the control over execution of the state budget, the correct expenditure of public funds, and also expenditure of the means stipulated for realization of regional projects, was lead wide exchange of views on other questions representing mutual interest.
