Plane crashes in Cuba, 68 killed
Baku, November 5 (AZERTAC). Cuban state media reported that a plane of the Cuban state airline Aerocaribbean with 68 occupants crashed into the central region of the island while flying between Santiago de Cuba and Havana. No data yet known survivors of the crash of the plane, which crashed near Guasimal, Sancti Spiritus. The 68 passengers on the plane, 40 were Cubans and 28 were foreigners. The latest air disaster in Cuba was in 2002 with a small plane with 16 tourists on board in the province of Villa Clara, also in the central region. Outside of Cuba, two serious accidents occurred on Cubana de Aviacion, one in Guatemala and one in Ecuador.
