PREMIER OF AZERBAIJAN RECEIVES JAPANESE DELEGATION

Prime Minister of the Azerbaijan Republic Artur Rasizade on 14 July received the delegation of Japan headed by deputy foreign minister of this country Ms. Akiko Yamanaka.

Head of the Azerbaijan Government, speaking of the widening Azeri-Japanese relations, expressed gratitude to the Japanese Government for assistance rendered to the country in the humanitarian sphere. Touching upon the realization of the global energy projects, the Premier noted active participation in them of the Japanese companies and congratulated Japan’s diplomat in connection with inauguration of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.

Ms. Yamanaka underlined the high rate of development in Azerbaijan’s economy, expressed hope for further expansion of bilateral relations, realization of projects in the field of ecology, education, development of small and medium business.
