Presentation on Azerbaijani agriculture sector held in Netherlands
Baku, March 18 (AZERTAC). A presentation on achievements and prospects for Azerbaijan`s agriculture sector was organized in the Hague, Netherlands.
The presentation was initiated by the Azerbaijan and Dutch Embassies, Netherlands Council for Trade Promotion (NCH), the Azerbaijan`s Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), Azerbaijan Investment Company, the Hague Chamber of Commerce, The Friesian business development company.
The presentation brought together government officials of Azerbaijan and Netherlands, local businessmen, representatives of Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Hague, Azerbaijan Embassy to Netherlands said.
Ambassadors of the countries Aziz Aliyev and Arjen Peter Uijterlinde informed participants on expanding cooperation between the countries.
Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Investment Company Afgan Isayev made presentation on Azerbaijan`s economic, business and investment opportunities.
Vice-President of the Azerbaijan`s Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) Rufat Mammadov provided information about progress achieved in the economic field of Azerbaijan.
Chief of Friesian company Siebren van der Zwaag stressed Netherlands agricultural companies` interest in cooperation with Azerbaijan. He added the Netherlands Trade Mission will pay an official visit to Azerbaijan on May 23-26.
