PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV INAUGURATES SECOND EXIT OF “28 MAY” METRO STATION
Baku, December 30 (AZERTAC). President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today opened the second exit of the “28 May” metro station here.
President Ilham Aliyev saw a Baku metro development scheme.
Azerbaijani leader was told that the 167meter-long pedestrian tunnel to the 28 May station is at a depth of 40 meters. The escalators installed here are Russian-made.
The special turnstiles counting the number of people passing through a gate and enforcing one-way traffic of people have been installed for the first time in the Baku metro.
The Head of State praised the work done here and gave respective recommendations and instructions.
