PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV INAUGURATES ZYKH CIRCLE-HEYDAR ALIYEV INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ROAD
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today attended the inauguration of the Zykh circle-Heydar Aliyev International Airport motorway, the first concrete road in Azerbaijan.
The construction of the road began on 10 November 2007. It was built by the Akkord Croup of Companies using the latest technologies. The six-lane road is 17 km in length.
The 3-km part of the 12km-long Azadlyg square-Zykh road, which has been constructed at the same time as the Zykh circle-Heydar Aliyev Airport road, has been also paved with concrete.
The construction of the road employed over 5 thousand workers, including 100 specialists from Germany.
