President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev today received the delegation of neighboring Georgia led by Jemal Inaishvili, the Deputy Speaker of the Georgian Parliament and President of the country’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Head of State described the Azerbaijan-Georgia relationship as successfully developing in all fields including on an inter-parliamentary level.

He pointed to the enhancing inter-state cooperation between the two countries, noting that a great number of problems found their solution due to the effective work of the joint economic commission.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed hope for further deepening of the relationship between Azerbaijan and Georgia.

Jemal Inaishvili conveyed to the Azerbaijani President the greetings and thanks from his Georgian counterpart Mikhail Saakashvili for the helping hand during the recent energy crisis in the country.

He highlighted the successfully enhancing Azerbaijan-Georgia cooperation in all fields including that between the two countries parliaments.

President Ilham Aliyev asked the guest to convey his greetings to President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili.
