PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES DELEGATION OF IRANIAN MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY AND MINES
The President said that Azerbaijan-Iran cooperation in various fields is developing successfully. He stressed the important role of his meetings with his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in deepening of bilateral relations. The Azerbaijani leader expressed hope that the visit by the delegation of Iranian Ministry of Industry and Mines would contribute to further enhancement of economic cooperation between the two neighboring countries.
Dr. Alireza Tahmasebi conveyed to President Ilham Aliyev greetings form Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, as well as congratulated him and the people of Azerbaijan on the Republic Day, May 28. He said that relations between the two countries have been developing rapidly since Azerbaijan gained its independence.
He noted that Iran has always supported territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
President Ilham Aliyev thanked the Minister for the greetings, and asked him to convey his own greetings to the Iranian leader.
