PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES EC’S NEWLY APPOINTED SPECIAL ENVOY
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev today received newly appointed Special Envoy of the European Commission to Azerbaijan Alan Waddams.
Current state and prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union, as well as a number of other issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting.
Mr. Waddams conveyed greetings and a letter from President of the European Commission Josй Manuel Barroso to the Azerbaijani leader.
President Ilham Aliyev thanked for the greetings, and asked Mr. Waddams to convey his own ones to the President of the European Commission.
