PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVED DELEGATION OF RF FRONTIER SERVICE
Greeting the guests, head of the Azerbaijani state said: “Between Azerbaijan and Russia, has been established good interaction in all spheres, including on border lines. I have recently been on an official visit to Russia and this visit was a success. We reached very good agreements that will much more promote development of bilateral relations.
We have effective cooperation and mutual understanding. There is political will of the leadership of Russia and Azerbaijan for that. And, of course, this should be fulfilled with active cooperation.
I consider that all our structures, departments and services should have close contacts. We have successful economic cooperation and the goods turnover between the countries is growing. Goods turnover should increase, perhaps. All these will create conditions for new prospects of co-op.
I know that there are warm and friendly links between the frontier services of our countries and there is also good interaction. Your visit to Azerbaijan will promote to deepen this mutual assistance. And our borders will serve the cause of peace, interaction, and cooperation between our peoples. I am certain that your visit will serve development of our relations”.
Expressing gratitude to head of the Azerbaijani state for warm reception, Vladimir Pronichev said: “Thank you, Mr. President. I would like to thank You for creating favorable conditions for cooperation of our departments. I consider that there were established good brotherly links between the frontier services of the two countries. And, perhaps, our cooperation is connected with the major fact – creation of favorable conditions for our citizens that they could cross the borders comfortably, in a civil manner. I want to say that from the standpoint of visiting CIS, it is one of my first visits. I warmly regard my colleague, evaluate him as a professional, and man. I am thankful to him that he took part at the opening of the Yalama-Gazmalar checkpoint.
We have no problems. Your assignments and the assignments of our President are fulfilled with great responsibility, but we would like to meet often and this is the main. The rest are high level.
