PRESIDENT OF LITHUANIA VALDAS ADAMKUS ARRIVES IN BAKU
Upon invitation of President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus arrived in Baku on June 8 for a two-day official visit.
At the Heydar Aliyev international airport V. Adamkus was met by Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizade, Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and other officials.
The welcoming ceremony was followed by a brief protocol meeting between Lithuanian President and Prime Minister of Azerbaijan.
Then, President of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus headed from the airport to the Baku city.
