PRESIDENTS OF AZERBAIJAN AND ARMENIA NOT TO MEET AT G8 SUMMIT

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in his interview to the Turkish newspaper ‘Cumhuryyet’ said ‘he will not meet with the Armenian president Robert Kocharian during the G8 Summit’. President Aliyev said ‘we have not reached any conclusions in the France and Romania meetings during several months. We have no any understanding, agreement and the main reason for that is unconstructive position of Armenia, its occupant policy’.

Noting ‘We have no territorial claim against anyone’, President of Azerbaijan said: ‘We demand to return back the territory that belongs to Azerbaijan. We try to do it peacefully. We give chance to Armenia to withdraw from the occupied lands and without any bloodshed and warfare to resolve this question. Should we achieve this, then, the picture will change completely, and there will be established relations, ways open and cooperation be possible…That is, the Armenian people will also benefit from this'.
