QATAR AND TYRKEY TO REALIZE $120 BLN JOINT PROJECTS NEXT FIVE YEARS
Baku,december 24(AzerTAj)Qatar and Turkish are going to implement joint construction and energy projects worth $120 bln in the next five years. To discuss the investment projects Qatar government officials and businessmen have held consultations with members of the Istanbul Trade Organization as a Turkish delegation of 70 is now negotiating the Organization of Trade and the Industry of Qatar. According to the Head of the Istanbul Trade Organization Murat Yalchintash Turkish builders' cooperation with Qatar is concerned with the rise in world oil prices. In Qatar, where income per capita is $40 thousand, the Turkish builders' are realizing the so-called Pearl of Gulf $2,5 billion housing projects. They are to build 200 skyscrapers totaling $10 billion, houses and villas worth $5 billion and $2 bln Qatar - Bahrain undersea bridge.
The Government of Turkey claims other Arabic countries are planning to cooperate with Turkey for implementing $480 bln projects in the next seven years.
