REASONS OF HELICOPTER WRECK IN GOYCHAY REGION UNDER INVESTIGATION
During incident, nobody from inhabitants of Goycvhay region has suffered, and the wrecked helicopter has fallen to empty territory, was not caused damage to the property in state ownership and belonging to citizens. The malfunction, which has arisen as a result of crash on high-voltage transmission lines in the said territory, was eliminated. As soon as the message on the incident was received, was given instruction on maintenance of strict protection of the place of incident and adjoining territories to the law enforcement bodies of Goychay region, the investigation group has been sent immediately to the Goychay region in staff of professional employees of Investigation Affairs Management on grave crimes of the State Office of Public Prosecutor.
At the same time, for investigation of the reasons of the crash, has been created a special commission led by the assistant to the director general of the State Concern AZAL, A. Talonin, and currently the said commission with participation of experts of the Scientific Research Institute of Judicial Examination, criminalistics and criminal problems of the Ministry of Justice, scientific - practical and educational association “Medico-legal examination and pathological anatomy” of the Ministry of Health, the Azerenergy Joint-Stock Company, and also representatives of embassy of the Russian Federation in Azerbaijan examines the place of incident.
In connection with the crash, was launched criminal case under the Article 262.3 of the Criminal Code of the Azerbaijan Republic (infringement of safety rules of movement and operation of railway, water and air transport), are provided carrying out of inspection of the place of incident with participation of experts, establishment and interrogation of eyewitnesses of event, carrying out of corresponding examinations and execution of other necessary operational-investigation actions.
