Regular session of Central Election Commission held
Baku, October 18 (AZERTAC). Under the chairmanship of Mazahir Panahov the regular session of the Central Election Commission was held on October 18.
As is reported, the session considered the appeals received by the Commission in connection with forthcoming elections to Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic. Five appeals were satisfied, and the earlier decision of corresponding district election commissions were cancelled and made decision about registration of candidates. Term of studying of four appeals was prolonged, while other appeals were not satisfied because of groundlessness.
CEC also considered current issues.
At the session also were participating representatives of the ODIHR observation mission, the Baku office of OSCE and mass-media.
