Representatives of Azerbaijan`s Interior Ministry attend international congress on traffic security
Baku, October 29 (AZERTAC). The third international congress entitled “traffic security for the sake of security of life” was held in Saint Petersburg. The event brought together representatives of international organizations, executive and legislative bodies, traffic police from 16 countries.
Opening the congress Chairman of the Federation Council of Russia Sergey Mironov touched upon importance of the topic discussed.
Azerbaijani Deputy Interior Minister Oruj Zalov delivered a presentation on the ceremony.
The “roundtable” on traffic security was attended by representative of the Interior Ministry Ramiz Zeynalov.
The participants adopted a declaration outlining traffic security problems and improvement of national legislation as major area of interparliamentary ties.
