RIA AND AZERTAC NEWS AGENCIES EXPAND COOPERATION
Director General of AZERTAC spoke of the activity of the main news agency of the Republic with corresponds in numerous countries, on establishment of contacts with the leading news agencies of world. AZERTAC is member of such authoritative international structures as the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA), the Alliance of countries of Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) and others. Thanks to huge care and attention rendered by the nationwide leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, which is continued by President Ilham Aliyev, AZERTAC holds a worthy place among the authoritative international news agencies.
In the meeting, also was stressed necessity of expansion of cooperation between AZERTAC and RIA “Novosti”, one of the oldest news agencies of Russia.
Alan Kasaev, also noting importance of the exchange of information between the Azerbaijani and Russian news agencies, said that RIA “Novosti” is to open its representation in Baku this year, is stipulated conducting a photo exhibition, the material of which later will be donated to the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
