ROMANIA’S NATIONAL HOLIDAY MARKED IN AZERBAIJAN
Embassy of Romania to Azerbaijan gave an official reception in honor of Romania’s National Holiday- Union Day in Baku Entertaining Center, on Friday.
Addressing the meeting, Romanian Ambassador Nikolae Ureke underlined that Romania has been marking this holiday since 1918 year. “Currently, Romania is rapidly developing and is a member of NATO. Romania and Azerbaijan relations are dynamically developing in all areas”, said Mr. Ureke.
First Deputy Chairman of Milli Majlis (Azerbaijan Parliament) Ziyafat Asgarov noted that the governments of Azerbaijan and Romania establish close cooperation in political, economy, cultural and other areas. Mr. Asgarov wished friendly people of Romania prosperity, peace and welfare.
The officials of Azerbaijani government, Ambassadors of the foreign countries were present at the meeting.
