RUSSIAN DUMA VOTING BEGINS
Voting started on Sunday to the Russian State Duma.
There are 96 polling stations across the country as eleven parties are competing to secure the 7% needed to qualify for seats in the parliament.
The number of registered voters is 107 million, while 1.5 million Russian citizens will cast their votes abroad.
About 3 million local and 330 international observers will monitor the voting.
The results will be announced no later that December 17.
Russian citizens in Azerbaijan will vote in two polling stations.
Azerbaijan sent a group of observers to Russia led by head of the Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov, and consisting of five members of the commission and eight parliamentarians.
