Russian president puts off annual news conference

Vladimir Putin has decided to put off his annual press conference in order to attend Andrey Karlov's funeral ceremony, according to TASS.
On Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part in the mourning ceremony for Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrei Karlov who was killed in a terrorist attack, so the president's annual press conference will be postponed until Friday, December 23, Dmitry Peskov announced.
"As Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrei Karlov's funeral will take place on Thursday, the President has decided to put off the annual press conference," Peskov said.
"The president will participate in the mourning ceremony."
"The president's annual press conference will begin on December 23, at noon," Peskov added.
