Samad Seyidov: Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will always be topic of discussions
Strasbourg, October 8 (AZERTAC). The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will always remain a topic of discussions, head of the Azerbaijan delegation to the PACE Samad Seyidov told journalists following a meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani delegations over resumption of the subcommittee on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
“Together with member of the delegation, Sabir Hajiyev we took part in the talks. I think we held constructive discussion of the question proposed by us since our aim is to keep Nagorno-Karabakh problem on the agenda of PACE, without forgetting its humanitarian aspects,” Seyidov said.
The meetings showed that 2005 PACE resolution must be implemented and ways of its implementation must be included into the PACE agenda.
“We have decided to continue such meetings, and discuss it at the structure`s bureau, which is mostly likely to take place in Paris and Antalya”
We hold such meetings at every session... I can assure you such meetings will be discussed both under leadership of PACE President and at meetings of the bureau. It shows whatever they tried to do in order to withdraw the issue from the agenda, they will fail,” he added.
