SEA TRANSPORT CARRIES 4.6 MILLION TONS OF CARGO

Sea transport hauled 4.6 million tons of cargo in January-April in Azerbaijan, up by 2.9% on the same period last year, State Statistics Committee reported.

Oil products constituted two thirds of the overall amount of cargo transported.

Cargo traffic picked up 11.5% to 2.6 billion ton/km. Passenger traffic increased by 41.4%.
