Slovenian Honorary Consulate presented in Baku

A ceremony has been held to present Slovenia`s Honorary Consulate in Azerbaijan and introduce Slovenian Honorary Consul in Baku Elnur Allahverdiyev.

Speaking to the ceremony, Slovenian Ambassador Milan Jazbec hailed his country`s relations with Azerbaijan as close.

He noted the role of reciprocal visits in terms of the development of the bilateral ties. The Ambassador said Slovenia attached particular importance to expanding and deepening its cooperation with Azerbaijan in political, economic, humanitarian, agricultural and ICT fields.

Official at the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs Parvin Mirzazade said the appointment of Elnur Allahverdiyev as Slovenia`s Honorary Council in Baku will contribute to the development of the relations between the two countries.

Honorary Consul Allahverdiyev said he will spare no efforts to boost Azerbaijani-Slovenian ties.
