‘SOCAR intends to establish new cooperation with Statoil’
Baku, November 13 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s State Oil Company, SOCAR intends to establish new cooperation with Norwegian Statoil Company.
President of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev told journalists the two companies had been cooperating for more than 20 years. He added SOCAR used Statoil`s experience when the company re-established its structure.
Touching upon a meeting with Chief Executive Officer of Statoil Helge Lund, Abdullayev said SOCAR intends to cooperate with Statoil in various regions of the world. “Statoil has projects in the North Sea and we hold discussions to establish cooperation on this issue.”
