SOME PROPOSALS BY MINSK GROUP CO-CHAIRS AGREED, FM MAMMADYAROV
Some proposals made by the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs on settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict have been agreed, Azeri Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said Thursday following a meeting with Armenian counterpart Vardan Oskanian in Madrid, Spain.
Mammadyarov stressed all the barriers impeding the talks must be eliminated.
“This is liberation of territories, restoration of disrupted communications and the return of refugees and IDPs to their homelands”, the Azerbaijani Minister added.
The meeting between Mammadyarov and Oskanian took place in the presence of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs as well as Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Under Secretary of State Nicholas Burns.
