SPEAKER OF MILLI MAJLIS OF AZERBAIJAN RECEIVES POLISH AMBASSADOR
Warmly having welcomed the visitor, chairman of Milli Majlis has told: “Azerbaijan is interested in all-around development of connections with Poland. The documents signed during the first visit in 1997 of the national leader of Azerbaijan people of Heydar Aliyev to Poland, have created legal base for development of our relations. The negotiations which have been carried out during mutual visits of heads of our states the next years, the achieved arrangements and the signed numerous contracts have created good opportunities for expansion and developments of our ties. I think, that our parliaments, using these opportunities, will aspire to strengthening these links in all areas. In parliaments of both countries, groups of friendship function, in this connection their mutual visits will be useful, he underlined.
Ambassador Kshishtof Kraevski has expressed gratitude for warm reception, has congratulated Ogtay Asadov on the occasion of election as Chairman of Milli Majlis. The diplomat has expressed the government and people of Azerbaijan gratitude for the hospitality rendered to him during short stay in Azerbaijan and the condition created for work. He has told: “For development of relations between our countries fine conditions have been really created. Our parliaments should take advantage as much as possible of it, and achieve greater expansion of cooperation”.
The ambassador has noted, that during his activity in Azerbaijan would do the utmost for all-around development of bilateral relations.
At the meeting, also has taken place comprehensive exchange of opinions on other questions representing mutual interest.
