St. Petersburg will host scientific conference dedicated to Khojaly massacre
Baku, February 21 (AZERTAC). A scientific conference titled “Justice to Khojaly” will be conducted at Maxim Gorkiy House of Culture in St. Petersburg on Friday. The event will be organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in conjunction with Consulate General of Azerbaijan to St. Petersburg.
The conference will bring together members of the Azerbaijani community of St. Petersburg, including students, general public of the city and press. The conference will focus on the Khojaly genocide, one of the most terrible massacres of the 20th century. The conference will also feature a presentation of a book titled “The Karabakh diary” by Russian writer Yuri Pompeyev, a photo exhibit and a documentary dedicated to Khojaly tragedy. The participants will be presented “The Karabakh truth” bulletin prepared by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
