Stamps dedicated to 20th anniversary of restoration of Azerbaijan`s independence issued
Baku, October 14 (AZERTAC). The Azermarka Company of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies has issued a series of stamps dedicated to the 20th anniversary of restoration of Azerbaijan`s independence.
The series includes a small sheet of 4 postage stamps and 2 postal units. The stamps of small list depict the national anthem, state flag, the text and notes of the national anthem as well as a map of Azerbaijan Republic. Nominal value of each stamp equals to AZN 1.
One of the postal units portrays the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, and the map and national flag of Azerbaijan were printed on the second. Par value of each unit amounts to AZN 2.
The design of the whole series features a special logo, dedicated to the memorable date October 18, 1991, the day of restoration of independence and the 20th anniversary of that date.
Stamps, printed in Belarus, were issued with a circulation of 5000 copies each.
