STATE BUDGET INVESTED AZN 4,276 BILLION LAST YEAR
Baku, January 19 (AZERTAC). Last year the state budget has invested AZN 1,276 billion, Samir Sharifov, the Minister of Finance of Azerbaijan told at the Cabinet meeting dedicated to results of 2008.
The Minister said the investment expenditures from the state budget has made up AZN 4 billion 276 (2, 2 times more than in 2007), from the State Oil Fund - AZN453 million, while the foreign credits with the state guarantee - AZN 430 million.
According to Sharifov, last year the state invested mainly construction and repair of the educational institutions (AZN 214 mln), the health and medical facilities (AZN 204 mln). Repair expenses in the culture and tourism sphere, including preservation of the cultural-historical heritage, restoration of national-religious monuments and national music made up AZN 171,6 million.
