STATE CARE OF CITIZENS OF AZERBAIJAN ON DIPLOMATIC SERVICE TO BE RAISED
Chairman of standing committee of Milli Majlis on economic policy Sattar Safarov has in detail informed deputies on the bill, has emphasized value of the given document.
The deputies who have acted in discussions have regarded the bill as display of the state care of our citizens serving in diplomatic representations of Azerbaijan in foreign countries. They have noted, that quantity of subjects of the given law, that is our diplomats working abroad and the persons serving in the diplomatic representations, is insignificant. Currently, 330 people concern to number of persons of this category. Their protection against any emergencies is the question concerning to powers of the state. During discussions, the deputies have emphasized that it is impossible to delay adoption of the said bill. The bill has been unanimously adopted in the first reading.
Then, Milli Majlis discussed the bill “ On living wage”. Chairman of the standing committee on economic policy Sattar Safarov informed on this project the deputies.
At session, it has been marked that a question connected to the discussed bill, constantly is in the center of attention of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. With a view of increase of the standard of living of the population by the head of state are signed recently the Decree “On measures on acceleration of social and economic development in the Azerbaijan Republic” and the State Program of social and economic development of regions of the Azerbaijan Republic. The bill “On living wage” is some kind of continuation of the known Decrees directed on increase of standard of living of the population.
The deputies who have acted in discussions have expressed the attitude to the bill, brought in the their remarks and proposals. The bill will be discussed in the next sittings.
