STATE CASPIAN SHIPPING COMPANY LAUNCHES NEW TANKER
Azerbaijan State Caspian Shipping Company (ASCSC) has launched a new tanker in Nijni Novgorod.
The vessel called Zangazur was produced by Krasnoe Sormovo shipbuilding plant.
A ceremony to launch the tanker brought together representatives of the state shipping company as well as constructors and Russian experts.
Director of Krasnoe Sormovo plant Nikolay Jarkov and chief engineer of ASCSC Alirza Sattarzade were also among the participants.
The new tanker will be brought to Baku in October.
The deadweight of Zangazur is 13,000 tons. The length of the vessel is 150 meters.
