TANJUG delegation visits Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency
Baku, February 9 (AZERTAC). A Serbian delegation has today visited Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency (AZERTAC) where they met Director General Aslan Aslanov.
The Director General briefed the Serbian delegation on history and activities of AZERTAC. Aslan Aslanov stressed the role of national news agencies in developing political, economic and humanitarian relations between the two countries.
He hailed the cooperation between the national news agencies of Azerbaijan and Serbia as successful. Mr. Aslanov, however, said AZERTAC and TANJUG should further boost news exchange.
The Director General said reciprocal official visits by Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Tomislav Nikolic would contribute to developing the relations between the two countries.
Head of the Foreign Policy department of TANJUG Biljana Simic praised development processes in Azerbaijan.
She emphasized the necessity of developing cooperation between the two countries` agencies, particularly in exchange of news.
The Serbian delegation viewed a photo editorial office and multimedia and video news department of AZERTAC.
