Trade representatives to be appointed to Azerbaijan’s embassies and consulates

Baku, January 26, AZERTAC

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on appointment of trade representatives to Azerbaijan’s embassies and consulates in foreign countries.

Under the order, the Minister of Economy will appoint trade representatives to Azerbaijan’s embassies and consulates with President`s consent.

Trade representatives will take measures to expand Azerbaijan`s economic and trade relations with foreign countries, protect economic interests of Azerbaijan, increase export of Azerbaijani goods and services, promote Azerbaijan’s business environment and investment opportunities.
