Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Belarus grew by 33 percent in 2016

Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Belarus grew by 33 percent in 2016, Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev said. The minister informed that 69 Azerbaijani companies operate in Belarus, while 31 Belarusian - in Azerbaijan.
During 2007-2016, as a result of the joint project of Belarusian tractors MTZ and machinery of the Minsk automobile plant MZKT more than 10 tractors, cars and trailers were produced at the Ganja Automobile Plant of Azerbaijan.
The organization of “Azerbaijan Trade House" in Belarus has been started in order to increase the export of Azerbaijani goods to Belarus.
