Turkey, Azerbaijan discuss military-to-military cooperation
Baku, November 3 (AZERTAC). Defense Minister Safar Abiyev has today met with visiting Turkish National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul.
Abiyev said Azerbaijan and Turkey have been always side by side during hardships throughout history
“We felt it very distinctly since the very beginning of Armenian invasion against Azerbaijan,” he said.
On the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Azeri Minister noted the peace process is under way to eliminate consequences of the Armenian aggressive policy and solve the problem through talks.
Turkish National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul, for his part, underlined the need to deepen cooperation in a variety of fields including the defense.
