TURKEY WITH GREATE INTEREST OBSERVE DEVELOPMENT OF CUSTOMS SERVICE IN AZERBAIJAN
Having expressed satisfaction meeting with delegation of the brotherly country, the general-lieutenant of customs service Aydin Aliyev has noted constant development of contacts between two countries. He has emphasized invaluable role of the national leader Heydar Aliyev who has told: “Turkey and Azerbaijan is one nation, two states”, and as he stated, these attitudes became even more indestructible.
Chairman of Committee has told, that the further expansion of relations with Turkey would constantly be in the center of attention as the important factor in the external economic policy of the country. He reminded often meetings with Turkish businessmen working in Azerbaijan, noting that and they will be continued.
Having noted steady development of trade and economic relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan, A. Aliyev has especially emphasized significant growth of trade turnover between two countries.
Speaking about the successes reached under direction of the President of Azerbaijan of Ilham Aliyev in the Republic in all areas, including in economy, A. Aliyev has noted, that Turkey represents for Azerbaijan special value in the external economic ties. He with satisfaction ascertained, that as a whole, the brotherly country takes the third place in economic relations of Azerbaijan.
Having thanked for warm reception, the state minister of Turkey Mehmet Aydin has expressed deep satisfaction with high rates of economic development in Azerbaijan. He highly estimated present condition of economic, political and cultural relations of two brotherly countries. Having noted, that the notable growth of trade turnover between two countries is pleasant event, the state minister has told, that there are ample opportunities to bring it to up to 1 billion dollars, and that the quickly developing economy of both Turkey and Azerbaijan allows to reach it.
Speaking about close ties of customs services of two countries, A. Aliyev has noted, that experience of Turkish colleagues, in particular, in the field of protection of sea borders, causes great interest of the Azerbaijan customs officers. Now, we carry out mutual work for studying means of the technical control used in the said sphere.
At the meeting also was participating the ambassador of Turkey to Azerbaijan Turan Morali.
