Turkey’s municipal heads visit Jojug Marjanli

A Turkish delegation of heads of municipalities, who are members of the Cukurova Municipalities Union of Turkey, have visited Jojug Marjanli village, which was retaken from Armenian occupation.
They first visited a memorial to April martyrs on the Horadiz-Jabrayil highway.
The delegation then familiarized themselves with ongoing construction and redevelopment works in the village, visited a secondary school and a mosque reminiscent of the famous Shusha Mosque.
Then a ceremony was held to sign a protocol of intent on becoming sister cities between Karaisali in Turkey’s Adana province and Jabrayil district.
A park symbolizing Azerbaijan-Turkey brotherhood was created in the village and pine trees were planted in the area.
