Turkish companies interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan

Officials of leading companies of Turkey and representatives of the Turkish Cooperation and Development Agency held a meeting in the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies (MCIT) of Azerbaijan. According to the Ministry, the meeting, attended by Minister Ali Abbasov, discussed works carried out in the area of innovative industrial construction in Azerbaijan.
A great importance was attached to the development of non-oil sector, modernization of the economy, the formation of innovative and knowledge-intensive economy, expansion of competitive industrial production based on high technologies in this direction.
The meeting also emphasized scientific researches, giving preference to the production of knowledge-based technological services and products to strengthen cooperation between university and industry enterprises in this aspect.
Following the event, speaking about the interest shown in cooperation with Azerbaijan, the delegation representing Turkey made suggestions for the new areas of cooperation.
The creation of Technopark in Khazar University with a proposal of Mitek Group of Companies and supporting by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies was also discussed there.
