TURKMENISTAN KEEN IN COOPERATION WITH UNITED STATES
As stated, the official Ashgabad is interested in attraction of investments and technologies of the United States to the projects connected to development of hydrocarbon stocks in Turkmenistan sector of the Caspian. President of Turkmenistan Saparmurat Niyazov stated it at the meeting with the ambassador of the United States in this country Ms. Tracy Jacobson. He told that preparation of special educational projects for studying by Turkmen pupils of the English language is the requirement of time, and we highly estimate activity of the American humanitarian organization “In the name for peace” in this sphere.
Upon termination of meeting, ambassador Tracy Jacobson told the journalists that the US build relations with Turkmenistan basically in sphere of education, safety and human rights. We plan to establish special cooperation with Turkmenistan in the field of protection of human rights, she stressed.
