TWO ADB-FUNDED PROJECTS TO BE STARTED IN AZERBAIJAN
Baku, January 11 (AZERTAC). According to the Asian Development Bank, Azerbaijan is set to embark in late January on the ADB-funded Power Transmission Enhancement Project and Rehabilitation of the Ganja Bypass Road Project.
ADB allocated $160 mln on Power Transmission Enhancement Project. The project will help upgrade and rehabilitate deteriorating and aging transmission facilities in Azerbaijan.
The estimated value of the Ganja Bypass Road Project is $55.4 mln.
ADB is planning to set aside funds to upgrade water supply, sanitation and transport systems in Azerbaijan.
