UATB SIGNS “BAKU DECLARATION”
A press conference on the outcomes of the “First Baku Meeting on the Path to Eurasian Businessmen’s Unity” organized by the Union of Azerbaijani-Turkish Businessmen /UATB/ took place in Excelsior Hotel on October 7. Speakers Mr. Ahmet Erentok, the President of UATB, Mr. Togrul Erkin, the Head of Turkey-Eurasia Business Council and Mrs. Ulker Guzel, the Vice-Chairman of the Foreign Economic Relations Committee at the Turkish Cabinet of Ministers welcomed the founding of the Association of businessmen in the Turkish speaking countries noting it will in particular, promote economic development in Azerbaijan including its non-oil sector, enhancing the country’s cooperation with its neighbors and strengthening its geopolitical role. They also told journalists the meeting had ended up with signing of a final document named Baku Declaration, which describes the objective of the Accusation as ensuring economic development in the countries of Eurasian region and strengthening of trade-economic, social and cultural cooperation between them.
