UKRAINIAN STUDENTS TO MASTER AZERBAIJANI
A sitting of the Department of Oriental Studies of the Kiev National University after T.G. Shevchenko held on august 27 had just one issue on the agenda: on sending 9 students majored in Azerbaijani language and literature to Baku for practice at the invitation of the Baku State University.
Chief of the Department, Prof. Grigoriy Khalimonenko, assistant professor Farkhad Turanli and official of the Azerbaijani Embassy to Ukraine Seidali Gadimaliyev wished the students every success while learning Azerbaijani in native speakers environment.
The students expressed gratitude to BSU Rector A. Maharramov, Ambassador T. Aliyev, AZAL’s General Representative in Ukraine Y. Amirov for assistance and care, and promised to master Azerbaijani during the practical work.
The students are going to leave Kiev for Baku on August 28, and expected to be back only by New Year.
