Visit of the President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko to Moscow to participate in the informal summit of the CIS has been canceled, the press secretary of head of the state Irina Gerashchenko said July 21 at a briefing. Victor Jushchenko has made such decision, considering the internal political situation in the country.

As stated, in this connection, President Yushchenko will send an official letter addressed to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin whereby he will confirm, that Ukraine regards bilateral mutual relations with Russia as good-neighborhood and partner, and is ready to work in common over their deepening.

In the letter, the President of Ukraine also will confirm the invitation to the President of Russia to visit Ukraine with official visit after the new government will be formed in Ukraine.
