The first World Summit of Religious Leaders attended by the heads of religious communities from 49 countries of the world has come to an end in Moscow, 5 July. In three days, leaders of various faiths had a unique opportunity to meet and all together to discuss universal spiritual problems. As it was stated at conference, during dialogue of religious leaders of the world, there was observed high level of the consent that has huge value for people of globe.

Participants of the meeting adopted a “Message of the World Summit of Religious Leaders”. The Message addressed to heads of the states, to religious communities and to all people of good will, it is stated: “We need to construct such world order which would combine democracy - as a way of the coordination of various interests and as participation of people in decision-making at the national and global level - with respect to moral feeling, mode of life, various legal and political systems, national and religious traditions of people”.

In the document, also are rejected double standards in the international relations, is condemned terrorism and extremism in any form, and also attempts of their religious justification, is expressed requirement to stop any insult of religious feelings and defilement of sanctuaries.

A news conference of the representatives of traditional religious faiths took place on completion of the meeting.
