15 killed, 50 injured as blast rocks Parachinar, Pakistan

Baku, March 31, AZERTAC

At least 15 people including a woman and two children were reportedly killed, and 50 others injured when a powerful blast occurred outside an Imambargah at a market of Parachinar city in Kurram Agency, Pakistan, on Friday, according to Daily Pakistan.

The blast reportedly occurred this morning in the crowded Noor market where a main Imambargah is also located.

After the blast, the area has been cordoned off by the forces. It is being reported that bomb was planted in a vehicle.

According to the political administration, injured were being shifted to the hospitals, while emergency has been declared in all hospitals of the city.

On the other hand, helicopters of Pakistan Army have been departed to the bomb-hit city in order to rescue the injured.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan and others condemned the deadly attack in Parachinar.

No one has claimed responsibility for the bombing.
