1841 MINES & UXO DEMOLISHED IN SEPTEMBER

Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) cleared the territory of 2 million 301 thousand 271sq.km of 1841mines and UXO in September, Agency`s press service said.

Reportedly, the operations involved 339 sappers, 6 UXO operators, and 30 mine detection dogs. Up to now, the territory of 57 million 982 thousand square meters has been cleared, and 280 775 mines and UXO neutralized.
